Huawei Mate 40E 4G User Manual & Review – The 6.5-inch screen with thin bezels around it makes the Huawei Mate 40E feel compact in the hand. The screen has a Full HD+ resolution, uses an OLED panel. The fingerprint sensor is embedded behind it, while the front camera is only one.
Even so, with the help of the 13MP camera above the left, the Air Gesture feature is still being brought to the Mate 40E variant. While the rear camera setup is also similar to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, with the main sensor being made differently. Use a 64MP sensor without OIS.
While the 8MP telephoto sensor can provide 3x optical zoom with OIS, and finally there is a 16MP ultra wide-angle sensor that supports autofocus and macro photos. All three are assisted by a laser autofocus sensor to accelerate focus capture in various light conditions.
The next difference is in the chipset used. The Kirin 990E 5G on the Huawei Mate 40E has an architecture similar to their late 2019 flagship. It’s just that, the GPU has slightly decreased performance, including the number of neural processing unit (NPU) cores.
Paired with 8GB RAM, the battery capacity is 4,200 mAh, supporting fast charging speeds that are balanced via wired or wireless. With a current of 40W, of course, it can be fully charged in less than an hour.
